By public transport: Train to Tottenham Hale, then the Stansted Express, about 55–70 min. The catch is doubling back and changing with luggage. A car does the whole trip door to door in about 30 min, or 45 min when the roads are full, with your bags in the boot.
Out of Cheshunt (EN7 / EN8) the route runs onto the M25 at junction 25 and east to junction 27, then up the M11. Coming back from Stansted the driver follows the M11 and the M25 back to Cheshunt. That is about 25 miles: reckon 30 min off-peak and 45 min when the M25 at junctions 25 to 27 is busy.
