Breakdown day? Tell us roughly when your stand will be packed and we will hold the car - waiting is agreed up front, not a surprise.
ExCeL is more than a kilometre end to end. Choose the West entrance (Custom House, Elizabeth line end) or the East entrance (Prince Regent DLR end) when you book, or simply give your hall number. The driver texts the exact spot and car registration, and you text back when you are walking out. Staying at Aloft, Novotel, DoubleTree, Sunborn or another ExCeL hotel? We collect from the hotel door instead.
From the North or South Terminal the route is the M23 and A23 towards south London, then across the river through the Blackwall or Silvertown Tunnel to the Royal Docks - or, when south London is slow, the M25 east and the Dartford Crossing onto the A13. Tunnel and crossing charges are inside the fixed fare. (in reverse). The driver checks live traffic before setting off and builds in a buffer for your flight time.
By train it is Gatwick Express or Thameslink into London, then a change onto the Elizabeth line for Custom House - typically 75-100 minutes with at least one change. It works for a light traveller; with luggage, kit or a group the car is door to door with no changes.
