By rail it is the Northern line from Kennington to Leicester Square and then the Piccadilly line direct to Heathrow, or to Tottenham Court Road for the Elizabeth line.
By car the driver crosses Vauxhall Bridge, passes Victoria and heads along Knightsbridge and the Cromwell Road to the A4 and M4.
By public transport: Northern line to Tottenham Court Road, then the Elizabeth line to Heathrow, about 55–70 min. The catch is a change in central London with luggage. A car does the whole trip door to door in about 45 min, or 75 min when the roads are full, with your bags in the boot.
Out of Kennington (SE11) the route runs over Vauxhall Bridge, past Victoria and along Knightsbridge and the Cromwell Road to the A4 and M4.
