Out of Gravesend (DA11 / DA12) the route runs west on the A2 past Dartford and through Blackheath to the Blackwall Tunnel. Coming back from London City the driver follows the Blackwall Tunnel and the A2 back to Gravesend. That is about 20 miles: reckon 30 min off-peak and 55 min when the A2 and the Blackwall Tunnel is busy.
London City is small and quick. Your driver meets you just outside arrivals with a name board, usually within minutes of you leaving the aircraft.
Landing late or early makes no difference: the driver follows the real landing time at London City and takes you straight home to Gravesend.
