By public transport: Train to Waterloo, then the Jubilee line to Canning Town and the DLR, about 55–75 min. The catch is at least one change with bags, and early flights before the first train. A car does the whole trip door to door in about 55 min, or 90 min when the roads are full, with your bags in the boot.

Coming back from London City the driver follows the Limehouse Link, the City and the A3 back to Esher.
