By public transport: Train to Marylebone, then the Tube to Canning Town and the DLR, about 85–105 min. The catch is at least one change with bags, and early flights before the first train. A car does the whole trip door to door in about 70 min, or 110 min when the roads are full, with your bags in the boot.
Out of High Wycombe (HP10 to HP15) the route runs east on the M40 and the A40 to the Westway, through the City and down the Limehouse Link. Coming back from London City the driver follows the Limehouse Link, the City and the M40 back to High Wycombe.
