Queensway is on the Central line, which runs direct to Liverpool Street for the Stansted Express. It is one of the simpler rail routes to Stansted in west London, though the Central line is crowded at rush hour.
By car the driver heads east on the Marylebone and Euston Roads, north on the A1 to the North Circular, and up the M11.
By public transport: Central line from Queensway to Liverpool Street, then the Stansted Express, about 75–90 min. The catch is a busy Central line and the walk across Liverpool Street. A car does the whole trip door to door in about 70 min, or 100 min when the roads are full, with your bags in the boot.
Out of Bayswater (W2) the route runs east along the Marylebone and Euston Roads, up the A1 to the North Circular and the M11. Coming back from Stansted the driver follows the M11 and North Circular, then the Euston Road back to Bayswater. That is about 40 miles: reckon 70 min off-peak and 100 min when the Euston Road and the A406 is busy.

Bayswater runs along the north side of Kensington Gardens, from Lancaster Gate to Notting Hill Gate, with Queensway and Westbourne Grove as its busy centre.
