The public-transport version starts at Bexleyheath (Southeastern) and finishes at Wembley Park (Metropolitan and Jubilee), with a 12-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that Olympic Way is queue-managed after full time and the walk is uphill. A car does the whole thing door to door in about 50 min, or 1h 25m when the roads are full - and it does it with your bags in the boot. It is a fair fight on the way there. On the way back, when several thousand people want the same platform, it stops being one.

If you were thinking of driving yourself: Wembley Stadium sits inside a matchday or event-day controlled parking zone, on-site spaces are pre-book only and go early, and the residential streets around it are permit-holders only with active enforcement. Pre-booked both ways, none of that is your problem.
