Event & venue transfers
Wembley Stadium is close enough to Brent that the journey is not the problem - the last quarter mile is. A car booked in advance is from £20, waits at a named point, and saves you the walk in whatever the weather is doing.
A taxi from Brent to Wembley Stadium is £20 in a saloon, £30 in a 6-seat MPV and £30 in an 8-seater. It is a short local run. The fare is fixed at the moment you book and covers tolls, the driver's waiting time and your luggage.
| Vehicle | Capacity | Fixed fare |
|---|---|---|
| Saloon | up to 4 passengers, 2 large cases | from £20 |
| MPV | up to 6 passengers, 4 large cases | from £30 |
| 8-seater | up to 7 passengers, 7 large cases | from £30 |
Per vehicle, not per person. Tolls, congestion and crossing charges are already inside the price, and it does not change on the day.
You are already on the line the venue uses - Wembley Park (Metropolitan and Jubilee) serves both ends, so the rail option is really just a 12-minute walk at the far end. The snag is that Olympic Way is queue-managed after full time and the walk is uphill. A car is about 5 min door to door, but the point of it here is not speed. It is not joining the crowd on the concourse, and not walking it in the rain. On a clear afternoon the walk is the sensible choice. After a full house it stops being one.
From Brent it is barely a journey on paper - A406 North Circular, then Harrow Road and South Way and you are there. Olympic Way (Wembley Way) is pedestrianised for two hours after full time, so allow for a short walk to the car. What the fixed fare buys you is a driver who already knows which side of the closure to sit on.
We cover the whole of Brent - NW10, HA0, HA9 - including the streets where flagging something down is a matter of luck rather than timing.
Green Car Park off South Way is the usual private hire point; on full-house events pickup moves to Rutherford Way or Fifth Way. Olympic Way (Wembley Way) is pedestrianised for two hours after full time, so allow for a short walk to the car. Your driver sends the exact standing point and the registration before they set off, so you are not circling a car park looking for a number plate.

If you were thinking of driving yourself: Wembley Stadium sits inside a matchday or event-day controlled parking zone, on-site spaces are pre-book only and go early, and the residential streets around it are permit-holders only with active enforcement. Being dropped at the door and collected at an agreed point removes the whole problem.
Doors are usually an hour before the match. Working back, that means leaving Brent around 5 min plus that hour on a busy night - and booking the return at the same time, because the road out is slower than the road in.

Door to door the car is about 5 min off-peak. The rail alternative is Wembley Park to Wembley Park plus the walk, which is competitive going out and considerably slower coming back.
Green Car Park off South Way is the usual private hire point; on full-house events pickup moves to Rutherford Way or Fifth Way. You get the exact point and the registration by text beforehand.
Yes, and it is the leg worth booking. The driver is in position before you come out instead of you joining the queue that forms the moment it ends.
Card, bank transfer or a business account, before or after the journey. A VAT receipt is issued either way.
A 6-seat MPV is £30 and an 8-seater £30. Bigger parties travel in several vehicles routed together.
The driver waits. We watch venue finish times rather than working to a fixed clock, so a late curtain does not leave you stranded or cost you extra.
Fares are fixed at booking and shown per vehicle. Distances and journey times are approximate and vary with traffic and the exact pickup address. Page reviewed 7 September 2026.
