By rail you would go Elephant & Castle (Northern and Bakerloo) across to Wembley Park (Metropolitan and Jubilee), then a 12-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that Olympic Way is queue-managed after full time and the walk is uphill. The taxi is about 30 min, or 55 min when the roads are full, but it is one journey rather than three, and nobody stands up for any of it. It is a fair fight on the way there. On the way back, when several thousand people want the same platform, it stops being one.

If you were thinking of driving yourself: Wembley Stadium sits inside a matchday or event-day controlled parking zone, on-site spaces are pre-book only and go early, and the residential streets around it are permit-holders only with active enforcement. Being dropped at the door and collected at an agreed point removes the whole problem.
