The public-transport version starts at Enfield Town (London Overground) and finishes at Meridian Water (National Rail), with a 10-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that it is an infrequent service that stops running before the venue does. The taxi is about 20 min, or 30 min when the roads are full, but it is one journey rather than three, and nobody stands up for any of it. It is a fair fight on the way there. On the way back, when several thousand people want the same platform, it stops being one.
