By rail you would go Greenwich (Southeastern, Thameslink and the DLR) across to Meridian Water (National Rail), then a 10-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that it is an infrequent service that stops running before the venue does. A car does the whole thing door to door in about 30 min, or 55 min when the roads are full - and it does it with your bags in the boot. It is a fair fight on the way there. On the way back, when several thousand people want the same platform, it stops being one.
