Event & venue transfers
Around 5.2 miles door to door, 20 min when the roads are behaving. From £40, locked at booking, with no meter running and no surge applied.
A taxi from Haringey to Drumsheds is £40 in a saloon, £55 in a 6-seat MPV and £60 in an 8-seater. It is about 5.2 miles and 20 min off-peak, or 30 min in traffic. The fare is fixed at the moment you book and covers tolls, the driver's waiting time and your luggage.
| Vehicle | Capacity | Fixed fare |
|---|---|---|
| Saloon | up to 4 passengers, 2 large cases | from £40 |
| MPV | up to 6 passengers, 4 large cases | from £55 |
| 8-seater | up to 7 passengers, 7 large cases | from £60 |
Per vehicle, not per person. Tolls, congestion and crossing charges are already inside the price, and it does not change on the day.
The public-transport version starts at Turnpike Lane (the Piccadilly line) and finishes at Meridian Water (National Rail), with a 10-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that it is an infrequent service that stops running before the venue does. A car does the whole thing door to door in about 20 min, or 30 min when the roads are full - and it does it with your bags in the boot. It is a fair fight on the way there. On the way back, when several thousand people want the same platform, it stops being one.
From the N4, N8, N15, N22 streets the route runs via the A10 then the A406, finishing on A406 North Circular, then Meridian Way. Roughly 5.2 miles, and the timing swings with the hour rather than the route: 20 min clear, 30 min loaded.
Haringey pickups take in all of N4, N8, N15, N22. Controlled parking zones and one-way systems are the driver's problem to solve, not yours.
Glover Drive, on the Meridian Water station side. Drumsheds runs late and Meridian Water has almost no night transport, so a pre-booked pickup is the practical way out after 02:00. Your driver sends the exact standing point and the registration before they set off, so you are not circling a car park looking for a number plate.
Address: 6 Glover Drive, Meridian Water, Enfield, N18 3HF.
Parking at Drumsheds is limited and the surrounding streets are metered or permit-only, so self-driving usually costs more in time than the fare saves. Pre-booked both ways, none of that is your problem.
Doors are usually an hour before the event. Working back, that means leaving Haringey around 30 min plus that hour on a busy night - and booking the return at the same time, because the road out is slower than the road in.
£40 in a saloon, £55 in a 6-seat MPV and £60 in an 8-seater. That is the fixed price, agreed at booking.
Door to door the car is about 20 min off-peak. The rail alternative is Turnpike Lane to Meridian Water plus the walk, which is competitive going out and considerably slower coming back.
Glover Drive, on the Meridian Water station side. You get the exact point and the registration by text beforehand.
Card, bank transfer or a business account, before or after the journey. A VAT receipt is issued either way.
The driver waits. We watch venue finish times rather than working to a fixed clock, so a late curtain does not leave you stranded or cost you extra.
No. The fare is fixed when you book. Traffic, tolls and the hour are our problem, not a line on your bill.
A 6-seat MPV is £55 and an 8-seater £60. Bigger parties travel in several vehicles routed together.
Fares are fixed at booking and shown per vehicle. Distances and journey times are approximate and vary with traffic and the exact pickup address. Page reviewed 7 September 2026.
