Event & venue transfers
Around 10.0 miles door to door, 25 min when the roads are behaving. From £60, locked at booking, with no meter running and no surge applied.
A taxi from Tower Hamlets to Drumsheds is £60 in a saloon, £75 in a 6-seat MPV and £85 in an 8-seater. It is about 10.0 miles and 25 min off-peak, or 50 min in traffic. The fare is fixed at the moment you book and covers tolls, the driver's waiting time and your luggage.
| Vehicle | Capacity | Fixed fare |
|---|---|---|
| Saloon | up to 4 passengers, 2 large cases | from £60 |
| MPV | up to 6 passengers, 4 large cases | from £75 |
| 8-seater | up to 7 passengers, 7 large cases | from £85 |
Per vehicle, not per person. Tolls, congestion and crossing charges are already inside the price, and it does not change on the day.
On the network it is Mile End (Central, District and Hammersmith & City) to Meridian Water (National Rail), plus a 10-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that it is an infrequent service that stops running before the venue does. A car does the whole thing door to door in about 25 min, or 50 min when the roads are full - and it does it with your bags in the boot. It is a fair fight on the way there. On the way back, when several thousand people want the same platform, it stops being one.
From the E1, E2, E3, E14 streets the route runs via the A13 then the A1261, finishing on A406 North Circular, then Meridian Way. About 10.0 miles in all - 25 min when it flows, 50 min when it does not.
Tower Hamlets pickups take in all of E1, E2, E3, E14. Controlled parking zones and one-way systems are the driver's problem to solve, not yours.
Glover Drive, on the Meridian Water station side. Drumsheds runs late and Meridian Water has almost no night transport, so a pre-booked pickup is the practical way out after 02:00. Your driver sends the exact standing point and the registration before they set off, so you are not circling a car park looking for a number plate.
Address: 6 Glover Drive, Meridian Water, Enfield, N18 3HF.
Parking at Drumsheds is limited and the surrounding streets are metered or permit-only, so self-driving usually costs more in time than the fare saves. Pre-booked both ways, none of that is your problem.
Doors are usually an hour before the event. Working back, that means leaving Tower Hamlets around 50 min plus that hour on a busy night - and booking the return at the same time, because the road out is slower than the road in.
£60 in a saloon, £75 in a 6-seat MPV and £85 in an 8-seater. That is the fixed price, agreed at booking.
Door to door the car is about 25 min off-peak. The rail alternative is Mile End to Meridian Water plus the walk, which is competitive going out and considerably slower coming back.
Glover Drive, on the Meridian Water station side. You get the exact point and the registration by text beforehand.
Card, bank transfer or a business account, before or after the journey. A VAT receipt is issued either way.
Yes, and it is the leg worth booking. The driver is in position before you come out instead of you joining the queue that forms the moment it ends.
A 6-seat MPV is £75 and an 8-seater £85. Bigger parties travel in several vehicles routed together.
The driver waits. We watch venue finish times rather than working to a fixed clock, so a late curtain does not leave you stranded or cost you extra.
Fares are fixed at booking and shown per vehicle. Distances and journey times are approximate and vary with traffic and the exact pickup address. Page reviewed 7 September 2026.
