By rail you would go Ilford (the Elizabeth line) across to Meridian Water (National Rail), then a 10-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that it is an infrequent service that stops running before the venue does. The taxi is about 25 min, or 40 min when the roads are full, but it is one journey rather than three, and nobody stands up for any of it. Two people with hand luggage should take the train. Three or more, or anyone with a case, and the fixed fare splits better than the tickets do.
From the IG1, IG2, IG4, IG8 streets the route runs via the A12 then the A406, finishing on A406 North Circular, then Meridian Way. About 8.3 miles in all - 25 min when it flows, 40 min when it does not.
Redbridge pickups take in all of IG1, IG2, IG4, IG8. Controlled parking zones and one-way systems are the driver's problem to solve, not yours.

Parking at Drumsheds is limited and the surrounding streets are metered or permit-only, so self-driving usually costs more in time than the fare saves. Being dropped at the door and collected at an agreed point removes the whole problem.
Doors are usually an hour before the event. Working back, that means leaving Redbridge around 40 min plus that hour on a busy night - and booking the return at the same time, because the road out is slower than the road in.
