By rail you would go Walthamstow Central (the Victoria line) across to Meridian Water (National Rail), then a 10-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that it is an infrequent service that stops running before the venue does. Door to door by road is about 15 min, or 25 min when the roads are full, with no changes, no stairs and no queue at the barrier. It is a fair fight on the way there. On the way back, when several thousand people want the same platform, it stops being one.
Out of Waltham Forest (E4, E10, E11, E17) the driver picks up the A406 then the A104, joining A406 North Circular, then Meridian Way for the run-in. That is about 4.1 miles. Reckon 15 min off-peak and 25 min if you are crossing town at the wrong moment.
