On the network it is Turnpike Lane (the Piccadilly line) to Alexandra Palace (National Rail), plus a 20-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that it is a steep uphill walk unless you wait for the shuttle. The taxi is about 5 min, or 10 min when the roads are full, but it is one journey rather than three, and nobody stands up for any of it. Two people with hand luggage should take the train. Three or more, or anyone with a case, and the fixed fare splits better than the tickets do.
From Haringey it is barely a journey on paper - A406 North Circular, then Bounds Green Road and you are there. The hill up to the Palace is steep and the internal roads run one-way on event nights, so pickup is at Palm Court rather than the car parks.
