Per vehicle, not per person. Tolls, congestion and crossing charges are already inside the price, and it does not change on the day.
The public-transport version starts at Camden Town (the Northern line) and finishes at Alexandra Palace (National Rail), with a 20-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that it is a steep uphill walk unless you wait for the shuttle. A car does the whole thing door to door in about 20 min, or 40 min when the roads are full - and it does it with your bags in the boot. It is a fair fight on the way there. On the way back, when several thousand people want the same platform, it stops being one.
Out of Camden (NW1, NW3) the driver picks up the A400 then the A502, joining A406 North Circular, then Bounds Green Road for the run-in. About 6.6 miles in all - 20 min when it flows, 40 min when it does not.
We cover the whole of Camden - NW1, NW3 - including the streets where flagging something down is a matter of luck rather than timing.
The Palm Court entrance on Alexandra Palace Way. The hill up to the Palace is steep and the internal roads run one-way on event nights, so pickup is at Palm Court rather than the car parks. Your driver sends the exact standing point and the registration before they set off, so you are not circling a car park looking for a number plate.
Address: Alexandra Palace Way, Wood Green, N22 7AY.
Parking at Alexandra Palace is limited and the surrounding streets are metered or permit-only, so self-driving usually costs more in time than the fare saves. Being dropped at the door and collected at an agreed point removes the whole problem.
Doors are usually an hour before the show. Working back, that means leaving Camden around 40 min plus that hour on a busy night - and booking the return at the same time, because the road out is slower than the road in.
£50 in a saloon, £60 in a 6-seat MPV and £65 in an 8-seater. That is the fixed price, agreed at booking.
Door to door the car is about 20 min off-peak. The rail alternative is Camden Town to Alexandra Palace plus the walk, which is competitive going out and considerably slower coming back.
The Palm Court entrance on Alexandra Palace Way. You get the exact point and the registration by text beforehand.
The driver waits. We watch venue finish times rather than working to a fixed clock, so a late curtain does not leave you stranded or cost you extra.
No. The fare is fixed when you book. Traffic, tolls and the hour are our problem, not a line on your bill.
Yes, and it is the leg worth booking. The driver is in position before you come out instead of you joining the queue that forms the moment it ends.
A 6-seat MPV is £60 and an 8-seater £65. Bigger parties travel in several vehicles routed together.
Fares are fixed at booking and shown per vehicle. Distances and journey times are approximate and vary with traffic and the exact pickup address. Page reviewed 7 September 2026.
