By rail you would go Camden Town (the Northern line) across to Stratford (Central, Jubilee, Elizabeth and the DLR), then a 18-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that the walk across the park is long and fully exposed to weather. Being dropped at the door and collected at an agreed point removes the whole problem.
