On the network it is Greenwich (Southeastern, Thameslink and the DLR) to South Kensington (District, Circle and Piccadilly), plus a 12-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that it is a pleasant walk in daylight and much less so leaving late. The taxi is about 30 min, or 50 min when the roads are full, but it is one journey rather than three, and nobody stands up for any of it. It is a fair fight on the way there. On the way back, when several thousand people want the same platform, it stops being one.
