On the network it is Earl's Court (the District and Piccadilly lines) to South Kensington (District, Circle and Piccadilly), plus a 12-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that it is a pleasant walk in daylight and much less so leaving late. The taxi is about 5 min, or 15 min when the roads are full, but it is one journey rather than three, and nobody stands up for any of it. Two people with hand luggage should take the train. Three or more, or anyone with a case, and the fixed fare splits better than the tickets do.
From Earls Court it is barely a journey on paper - A4 Cromwell Road, then Exhibition Road and you are there. Kensington Gore is a red route where a car cannot legally wait, so the pickup is always around the back on Prince Consort Road.
