The public-transport version starts at Earl's Court (the District and Piccadilly lines) and finishes at Hammersmith (District, Piccadilly and Circle), with a 3-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that it is genuinely close, so rail is a fair option on this one. A car does the whole thing door to door in about 10 min, or 20 min when the roads are full - and it does it with your bags in the boot. Two people with hand luggage should take the train. Three or more, or anyone with a case, and the fixed fare splits better than the tickets do.
From Earls Court it is barely a journey on paper - A4 Hammersmith flyover, then Queen Caroline Street and you are there. The Hammersmith gyratory is one-way and the flyover has no stopping, so drivers come round to Queen Caroline Street. What the fixed fare buys you is a driver who already knows which side of the closure to sit on.

Parking at Eventim Apollo is limited and the surrounding streets are metered or permit-only, so self-driving usually costs more in time than the fare saves. A drop-off and a booked return sidesteps it entirely.
Doors are usually an hour before the show. Working back, that means leaving Earls Court around 20 min plus that hour on a busy night - and booking the return at the same time, because the road out is slower than the road in.
