Event & venue transfers
Around 13.5 miles door to door, 35 min when the roads are behaving. From £75, locked at booking, with no meter running and no surge applied.
A taxi from Brixton to Wembley Stadium is £75 in a saloon, £95 in a 6-seat MPV and £105 in an 8-seater. It is about 13.5 miles and 35 min off-peak, or 1h in traffic. The fare is fixed at the moment you book and covers tolls, the driver's waiting time and your luggage.
| Vehicle | Capacity | Fixed fare |
|---|---|---|
| Saloon | up to 4 passengers, 2 large cases | from £75 |
| MPV | up to 6 passengers, 4 large cases | from £95 |
| 8-seater | up to 7 passengers, 7 large cases | from £105 |
Per vehicle, not per person. Tolls, congestion and crossing charges are already inside the price, and it does not change on the day.
The public-transport version starts at Brixton (the Victoria line) and finishes at Wembley Park (Metropolitan and Jubilee), with a 12-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that Olympic Way is queue-managed after full time and the walk is uphill. Door to door by road is about 35 min, or 1h when the roads are full, with no changes, no stairs and no queue at the barrier. It is a fair fight on the way there. On the way back, when several thousand people want the same platform, it stops being one.
The usual line from Brixton is the A23 then the A204, then A406 North Circular, then Harrow Road and South Way at the end. That is about 13.5 miles. Reckon 35 min off-peak and 1h if you are crossing town at the wrong moment.
Brixton pickups take in all of SW2, SW9. Controlled parking zones and one-way systems are the driver's problem to solve, not yours.
Green Car Park off South Way is the usual private hire point; on full-house events pickup moves to Rutherford Way or Fifth Way. Olympic Way (Wembley Way) is pedestrianised for two hours after full time, so allow for a short walk to the car. Your driver sends the exact standing point and the registration before they set off, so you are not circling a car park looking for a number plate.
Address: Wembley Stadium, Wembley Park, HA9 0WS.
If you were thinking of driving yourself: Wembley Stadium sits inside a matchday or event-day controlled parking zone, on-site spaces are pre-book only and go early, and the residential streets around it are permit-holders only with active enforcement. Pre-booked both ways, none of that is your problem.
Doors are usually an hour before the match. Working back, that means leaving Brixton around 1h plus that hour on a busy night - and booking the return at the same time, because the road out is slower than the road in.
£75 in a saloon, £95 in a 6-seat MPV and £105 in an 8-seater. That is the fixed price, agreed at booking.
Door to door the car is about 35 min off-peak. The rail alternative is Brixton to Wembley Park plus the walk, which is competitive going out and considerably slower coming back.
Green Car Park off South Way is the usual private hire point; on full-house events pickup moves to Rutherford Way or Fifth Way. You get the exact point and the registration by text beforehand.
No. The fare is fixed when you book. Traffic, tolls and the hour are our problem, not a line on your bill.
Yes, and it is the leg worth booking. The driver is in position before you come out instead of you joining the queue that forms the moment it ends.
The driver waits. We watch venue finish times rather than working to a fixed clock, so a late curtain does not leave you stranded or cost you extra.
A 6-seat MPV is £95 and an 8-seater £105. Bigger parties travel in several vehicles routed together.
Fares are fixed at booking and shown per vehicle. Distances and journey times are approximate and vary with traffic and the exact pickup address. Page reviewed 7 September 2026.
