Racecourse transfers

Any other London address is quoted the same way, on the actual distance, before you commit.
The route from central London is the M4 and M5 north to Junction 10 or 11, then the A435 and Evesham Road to Prestbury Park. On an ordinary day that is about 2h 05m.
On a feature day it is a different journey. The problem is the A435 and the Evesham Road approach, which on Gold Cup day is gridlocked for hours in both directions. That is why we set the pickup from the first race rather than from the gates, and why leaving an hour earlier than feels necessary is the right call.
The drop is the drop-off at the Centaur entrance on Evesham Road, close to the Club and Tattersalls turnstiles. The pickup afterwards uses the same point, and your driver is in position before the last race finishes rather than setting off once you call.
the Cheltenham Festival in March is the fixture that matters, four days that fill every hotel within thirty miles.
The course car parks fill from early morning and empty slowly. The walk in from the outer fields is long and usually across grass. Add the drive home after a day at the races, which is the part nobody plans for, and the case for a car with a driver makes itself.
the Festival has a smart dress code in the Club Enclosure, and March in the Cotswolds is colder than the London forecast suggests.
Most Cheltenham bookings are groups. An eight-seater takes seven with luggage; larger parties go in several vehicles routed together so everyone arrives at the same entrance within a minute or two. Corporate accounts, single invoicing and named drivers for the day are all available, and for hospitality boxes we will match the car to your arrival slot.
We collect from homes, hotels, offices, hospitals and serviced apartments across London. The fare is calculated from your actual postcode to Cheltenham Racecourse rather than from a fixed central point, which is why we ask for the full address up front.
Extra pickups on the way out are usually free if they sit roughly on the route. Four colleagues from four addresses is one booking, not four.
Three sizes, and the difference is boot space more than seats: £305 for four passengers and two large cases, £380 for six and four, £425 for seven and seven.
Over 100 miles this matters more than it does on a short hop. Four adults wedged around four suitcases is a miserable way to spend several hours, and we would rather size it correctly at the quote stage.
Child seats and boosters are free but must be named in advance with the child's age, since the seat is fitted before the vehicle leaves. Skis, bikes, instruments, golf clubs, flight cases and wheelchairs all travel when flagged at booking. Parties above seven go in several vehicles routed together.
Booking takes a couple of minutes by phone, WhatsApp or the form. You get written confirmation immediately and driver details in advance.
Card, bank transfer or cash, with corporate accounts and monthly invoicing available for firms that run this route regularly. Nothing is added at the end - no meter, no checkout fee, no fuel surcharge, no surge.
Move the booking and the price moves with it, not upward. Same route, same fare, whatever the new time says.
Everybody plans the way there and nobody plans the way back, which is why the car parks take an hour to clear and the ride-hailing apps surge precisely when you want them.
A booked return sidesteps it. Your driver is at the agreed point before the last race finishes, at a fare fixed when you booked, and nobody in the party spends the afternoon worrying about getting back.
If the day overruns, it overruns. Waiting time on a booked return is included and a text to the driver pushes the pickup back. We would rather hold the car than have you leave before you wanted to.
Corporate hospitality parties, mostly - one invoice, several vehicles, everyone arriving together for a box slot. Then private groups: birthdays, anniversaries, stag and hen days, where the eight-seater replaces two cars and a designated driver nobody wanted to be.
All of them book the same way and pay the same rate. No premium for a feature day, no Saturday surcharge, and no difference between the price quoted months ahead and the price paid on the day.
Five things make the day run properly and each takes a sentence. The pickup address including the door you will actually be standing at. The passenger count and, separately, the large-case count - different numbers, and the second one picks the vehicle.
Tell us when you need to be there rather than when you want to leave. The timing is our job, and so is allowing for the roads.
That is the whole of it. Route, traffic, timing, vehicle choice, where the driver waits - all ours, and the quoted price does not move while we sort them out.
Every fare here is fixed when you book. Not an estimate, not a starting price, not a number that grows if the road is slow or the clock says four in the morning.
Someone has to carry the risk of a bad road. We think it should be the firm that picked the route, not the person sitting in the back.
It also means the number works before the journey: you can put it in an expense claim or split it between the people travelling without waiting to see what the meter says. There is no bank-holiday rate, no weekend premium and no surcharge added at the end. The only thing that changes a quoted fare is you changing the journey.
From £305 in a Saloon from central London, £380 in a six-seat MPV and £425 in an eight-seater. Per vehicle, fixed at booking, and the same figure on a Festival day as on a quiet Wednesday.
About 2h 05m from central London on a clear road, and up to 3h 10m on a big raceday. We build the pickup back from the first race, not from the gates opening.
On an ordinary meeting you can. On a feature day, the A435 and the Evesham Road approach, which on Gold Cup day is gridlocked for hours in both directions - and the walk from the overflow parking is long, on grass, in whatever shoes the dress code obliged you to wear. A car that drops at the entrance and collects from the same point is the reason most people book.
At the drop-off at the Centaur entrance on Evesham Road, close to the Club and Tattersalls turnstiles. You get the exact point and the vehicle registration by text before the day, and the same point is used for the pickup afterwards.
Yes, and it is the leg worth booking. Everyone leaves within twenty minutes of the last race, so a car already in position is the difference between going home and standing in a queue. The driver waits at no extra cost on a booked return.
GWR or CrossCountry from Paddington to Cheltenham Spa, then a shuttle bus or taxi to the course, roughly 2h 30m from central London. It works well for two people. For a group of six with hospitality tickets it means a change, a walk and a scramble for the last service home.
Yes. Eight-seaters for a group, or several vehicles routed together for hospitality parties, arriving within a minute of each other. Accounts and single invoicing are available for corporate days.
Yes, and extra stops on the way out are normally free if they are roughly on the route. It is how most group bookings to the races actually work - four or five people, four or five doors, one vehicle, one fare.
Nothing. Waiting time on a booked return is included and a text to the driver moves the pickup back. We would rather hold the car than have you leave a meeting or a box before you wanted to.
Yes. Corporate accounts with monthly invoicing are available, and a hospitality party across several vehicles goes on a single invoice with one reference rather than one per car.
For a feature day, as early as you can. The fare is fixed at the moment you book and does not rise as the date approaches, so booking months ahead costs no more than booking the week before - but the eight-seaters go first.
Fares are fixed at booking and shown per vehicle. Distances and journey times are approximate and vary with traffic and the exact pickup address. Page reviewed 14 September 2026.
