By rail you would go Notting Hill Gate (the Central, District and Circle lines) across to Kew Bridge (National Rail), then a 8-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that it drops to a half-hourly service off-peak. The taxi is about 25 min, or 40 min when the roads are full, but it is one journey rather than three, and nobody stands up for any of it. It is a fair fight on the way there. On the way back, when several thousand people want the same platform, it stops being one.
From the W11, W2, W10 streets the route runs via the A40 then the A402, finishing on A4 Great West Road, then Ealing Road. That is about 7.1 miles. Reckon 25 min off-peak and 40 min if you are crossing town at the wrong moment.

If you were thinking of driving yourself: Gtech Community Stadium sits inside a matchday or event-day controlled parking zone, on-site spaces are pre-book only and go early, and the residential streets around it are permit-holders only with active enforcement. Being dropped at the door and collected at an agreed point removes the whole problem.
