By rail you would go Shepherd's Bush (the Central line and London Overground) across to Marble Arch (the Central line), then a 10-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that which gate you leave by decides how far you walk. The taxi is about 15 min, or 30 min when the roads are full, but it is one journey rather than three, and nobody stands up for any of it. Two people with hand luggage should take the train. Three or more, or anyone with a case, and the fixed fare splits better than the tickets do.
