By public transport: Elizabeth line, change at Hayes & Harlington, about 35–55 min. The catch is a change with luggage. A car does the whole trip door to door in about 15 min, or 25 min when the roads are full, with your bags in the boot.
Out of Slough (SL1 to SL3) the route runs east along the A4 through Langley and Colnbrook to the airport. Coming back from Heathrow the driver follows the A4 back through Colnbrook and Langley. That is about 8 miles: reckon 15 min off-peak and 25 min when Colnbrook is busy.
