From Tottenham Hale the driver follows the Lea Valley south through Hackney Wick to the A12 and on to Silvertown. It avoids central London, so the journey time is fairly predictable.

Coming back from London City the driver follows the A12 north through Hackney Wick and the Lea Valley to Tottenham. That is about 11 miles: reckon 30 min off-peak and 50 min when the Blackwall approach and the A12 at rush hour is busy.
