The Gatwick Express runs non-stop from Victoria to Gatwick in about half an hour, the quickest option for one traveller with light bags.

Out of Victoria (SW1V / SW1W) the route runs over Vauxhall Bridge and through Stockwell, Brixton and Streatham to the A23 and M23. Coming back from Gatwick the driver follows the M23 and A23 north through Streatham and Brixton, then Vauxhall Bridge back to Victoria. That is about 28 miles: reckon 65 min off-peak and 100 min when Vauxhall and Brixton is busy.
