Out of Watford (WD17 to WD19 / WD24 / WD25) the route runs onto the M25 at junction 19 and anticlockwise past Heathrow to junction 7, then down the M23. Coming back from Gatwick the driver follows the M23 and the M25 back to Watford. That is about 50 miles: reckon 55 min off-peak and 85 min when the M25 past Heathrow is busy.
