By rail you would go Angel (the Northern line) across to Fulham Broadway (the District line), then a 8-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that the station is one-in-one-out after big games. Door to door by road is about 25 min, or 40 min when the roads are full, with no changes, no stairs and no queue at the barrier. Two people with hand luggage should take the train. Three or more, or anyone with a case, and the fixed fare splits better than the tickets do.
The usual line from Angel is the A1 Upper Street then the A501, then A4 Talgarth Road, then Fulham Road at the end. That is about 7.5 miles. Reckon 25 min off-peak and 40 min if you are crossing town at the wrong moment.

If you were thinking of driving yourself: Stamford Bridge sits inside a matchday or event-day controlled parking zone, on-site spaces are pre-book only and go early, and the residential streets around it are permit-holders only with active enforcement. A drop-off and a booked return sidesteps it entirely.
