By public transport: Piccadilly line to King's Cross, Thameslink to Luton Airport Parkway, then the DART, about 55–70 min. The catch is three legs with luggage. A car does the whole trip door to door in about 45 min, or 70 min when the roads are full, with your bags in the boot.
Out of Holloway (N7) the route runs up the Holloway Road and the A1 through Archway, then the North Circular to the M1. Coming back from Luton the driver follows the M1, the North Circular and the A1 back to N7. That is about 30 miles: reckon 45 min off-peak and 70 min when Archway and the North Circular is busy.

Holloway runs along the busy Holloway Road from Highbury Corner to Archway, with the Nag's Head shopping area, London Metropolitan University, the Emirates Stadium to the east and residential streets around Caledonian Road and Camden Road.
