Per vehicle, not per person. Tolls, congestion and crossing charges are already inside the price, and it does not change on the day.
The public-transport version starts at South Kensington (District, Circle and Piccadilly) and finishes at Putney Bridge (the District line), with a 15-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that it leaves a 15-minute walk through Bishops Park, unlit in winter. The taxi is about 15 min, or 30 min when the roads are full, but it is one journey rather than three, and nobody stands up for any of it. It is a fair fight on the way there. On the way back, when several thousand people want the same platform, it stops being one.
Out of Kensington & Chelsea (SW3, SW5, SW7, W8) the driver picks up the A4 then the A3220, joining A4 then A219 Fulham Palace Road for the run-in. That is about 3.7 miles. Reckon 15 min off-peak and 30 min if you are crossing town at the wrong moment.
We cover the whole of Kensington & Chelsea - SW3, SW5, SW7, W8 - including the streets where flagging something down is a matter of luck rather than timing.
Fulham Palace Road at the Bishops Park end - Stevenage Road is residents-only on matchdays. The ground backs onto the Thames with one road in, so drivers wait on Fulham Palace Road rather than trying to turn at the gate. Your driver sends the exact standing point and the registration before they set off, so you are not circling a car park looking for a number plate.
Address: Stevenage Road, Fulham, SW6 6HH.
If you were thinking of driving yourself: Craven Cottage sits inside a matchday or event-day controlled parking zone, on-site spaces are pre-book only and go early, and the residential streets around it are permit-holders only with active enforcement. Pre-booked both ways, none of that is your problem.
Doors are usually an hour before the match. Working back, that means leaving Kensington & Chelsea around 30 min plus that hour on a busy night - and booking the return at the same time, because the road out is slower than the road in.
£35 in a saloon, £45 in a 6-seat MPV and £50 in an 8-seater. That is the fixed price, agreed at booking.
Door to door the car is about 15 min off-peak. The rail alternative is South Kensington to Putney Bridge plus the walk, which is competitive going out and considerably slower coming back.
Fulham Palace Road at the Bishops Park end - Stevenage Road is residents-only on matchdays. You get the exact point and the registration by text beforehand.
Card, bank transfer or a business account, before or after the journey. A VAT receipt is issued either way.
A 6-seat MPV is £45 and an 8-seater £50. Bigger parties travel in several vehicles routed together.
Yes, and it is the leg worth booking. The driver is in position before you come out instead of you joining the queue that forms the moment it ends.
The driver waits. We watch venue finish times rather than working to a fixed clock, so a late curtain does not leave you stranded or cost you extra.
Fares are fixed at booking and shown per vehicle. Distances and journey times are approximate and vary with traffic and the exact pickup address. Page reviewed 7 September 2026.
