Around 6.6 miles door to door, 20 min when the roads are behaving. From £50, locked at booking, with no meter running and no surge applied.
A taxi from Westminster to Emirates Stadium is £50 in a saloon, £60 in a 6-seat MPV and £65 in an 8-seater. It is about 6.6 miles and 20 min off-peak, or 40 min in traffic. The fare is fixed at the moment you book and covers tolls, the driver's waiting time and your luggage.
| Vehicle | Capacity | Fixed fare |
|---|---|---|
| Saloon | up to 4 passengers, 2 large cases | from £50 |
| MPV | up to 6 passengers, 4 large cases | from £60 |
| 8-seater | up to 7 passengers, 7 large cases | from £65 |
Per vehicle, not per person. Tolls, congestion and crossing charges are already inside the price, and it does not change on the day.
On the network it is Westminster (Circle, District and Jubilee) to Arsenal (the Piccadilly line), plus a 5-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that Arsenal station is exit-only for a spell after full time. Door to door by road is about 20 min, or 40 min when the roads are full, with no changes, no stairs and no queue at the barrier. Two people with hand luggage should take the train. Three or more, or anyone with a case, and the fixed fare splits better than the tickets do.
From the SW1, W1, WC2 streets the route runs via the A302 then the A3212, finishing on A1 Holloway Road, then Drayton Park. That is about 6.6 miles. Reckon 20 min off-peak and 40 min if you are crossing town at the wrong moment.
Westminster is dense, one-way and camera-enforced. The driver texts a workable standing point in SW1, W1, WC2 instead of guessing, which is the difference between a two-minute wait and a fine.
Drayton Park or the Hornsey Road side; Queensland Road and Hornsey Road fill quickly after full time. Islington runs a matchday parking and road-closure zone around the ground, so the pickup point sits a few streets out on Hornsey Road. Your driver sends the exact standing point and the registration before they set off, so you are not circling a car park looking for a number plate.
Address: Hornsey Road, Highbury, N7 7AJ.
If you were thinking of driving yourself: Emirates Stadium sits inside a matchday or event-day controlled parking zone, on-site spaces are pre-book only and go early, and the residential streets around it are permit-holders only with active enforcement. Pre-booked both ways, none of that is your problem.
Doors are usually an hour before the match. Working back, that means leaving Westminster around 40 min plus that hour on a busy night - and booking the return at the same time, because the road out is slower than the road in.
£50 in a saloon, £60 in a 6-seat MPV and £65 in an 8-seater. That is the fixed price, agreed at booking.
Door to door the car is about 20 min off-peak. The rail alternative is Westminster to Arsenal plus the walk, which is competitive going out and considerably slower coming back.
Drayton Park or the Hornsey Road side; Queensland Road and Hornsey Road fill quickly after full time. You get the exact point and the registration by text beforehand.
No. The fare is fixed when you book. Traffic, tolls and the hour are our problem, not a line on your bill.
A 6-seat MPV is £60 and an 8-seater £65. Bigger parties travel in several vehicles routed together.
Card, bank transfer or a business account, before or after the journey. A VAT receipt is issued either way.
The driver waits. We watch venue finish times rather than working to a fixed clock, so a late curtain does not leave you stranded or cost you extra.
Fares are fixed at booking and shown per vehicle. Distances and journey times are approximate and vary with traffic and the exact pickup address. Page reviewed 7 September 2026.
