Get London Transfer is a licensed private hire operator based in London. We take people between their door and every airport, cruise port and city in Britain, with the fare agreed before the journey starts and a driver who waits for you in the arrivals hall, not at the kerb.
Why we exist
Most airport transfers go wrong in the same three places: the price changes after you've booked, nobody is there when you land, or the person who is there turns out not to be who they said they were. We built Get London Transfer to remove all three.
So the fare you accept is the fare you pay — a quiet Tuesday morning and a stormy Saturday night cost the same. We watch your flight from departure, so a delay moves your pick-up instead of costing you. And your driver's name, phone number and vehicle details are sent to you before you travel, so you know exactly who you're looking for in the arrivals hall.
We are a small London team. The people who quote your journey, dispatch your driver and answer the phone at 3am are the same people. That's deliberate: it means the person you speak to can actually fix things.
What we do
Airport transfers
To and from Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton and London City, and every other airport in Britain. Meet & Greet in arrivals, flight tracking, fixed fares from £55.
Cruise port transfers
Southampton (all terminals), Dover, Portsmouth, Harwich, Tilbury and Liverpool, from any London airport or address, in vehicles with room for cruise luggage.
Long distance, events and business
City-to-city journeys without changing trains, match days and concerts with a guaranteed ride home, and executive cars on account with monthly invoicing.
How a booking works
- You tell us the journey. Online, by WhatsApp or by phone: addresses or airport and terminal, date and time, passengers, luggage, and anything special such as a child seat.
- We confirm a fixed fare and a reference. Your confirmation email shows the fare, what's included and your GLT- reference. Pay in full, pay a 30% deposit, or pay the driver in cash — your choice.
- You receive your driver's details before travel. Name, phone number, vehicle make, colour and registration. If anything doesn't match on the day, don't get in — call us.
- Your driver is waiting when you arrive. In the arrivals hall with your name on a board for airport pick-ups; at your door for everything else. The fare on your confirmation is the fare you pay.
The standards behind every journey
Drivers
Every driver holds a private hire driver's licence from their licensing authority. In London that means an enhanced DBS criminal-record check, a medical, right-to-work checks and an English-language requirement before a licence is issued, and regular re-checks after. On top of that, we only work with drivers who know the airports and the routes, and who understand that a quiet, punctual journey is the whole job.
Vehicles
Every vehicle is licensed for private hire, inspected on the licensing authority's schedule, and insured for hire and reward. Cars are cleaned between jobs. If a vehicle isn't fit to carry you, it doesn't.
Bookings
Every journey is pre-booked through a licensed operator, as the law requires, and a record of the booking is kept. That's your protection: a licensed, insured, traceable journey every time.

If you booked through a website or app that wasn't getlondontransfer.co.uk, your booking is with them, not us — but we're happy to quote for the same journey.
