Event & venue transfers
Fixed at £40 from Battersea to Eventim Apollo, about 5.3 miles and 20 min on a clear road. The price is locked when you book, not when you travel.
A taxi from Battersea to Eventim Apollo is £40 in a saloon, £55 in a 6-seat MPV and £60 in an 8-seater. It is about 5.3 miles and 20 min off-peak, or 35 min in traffic. The fare is fixed at the moment you book and covers tolls, the driver's waiting time and your luggage.

Per vehicle, not per person. Tolls, congestion and crossing charges are already inside the price, and it does not change on the day.
By rail you would go Battersea Power Station (the Northern line) across to Hammersmith (District, Piccadilly and Circle), then a 3-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that it is genuinely close, so rail is a fair option on this one. The taxi is about 20 min, or 35 min when the roads are full, but it is one journey rather than three, and nobody stands up for any of it. If you are travelling light and early, the train usually wins on price. If you are in a group, carrying anything, or leaving after an event, the car wins on everything else.
Out of Battersea (SW8, SW11) the driver picks up the A3205 then the A3036, joining A4 Hammersmith flyover, then Queen Caroline Street for the run-in. Roughly 5.3 miles, and the timing swings with the hour rather than the route: 20 min clear, 35 min loaded.
Battersea pickups take in all of SW8, SW11. Controlled parking zones and one-way systems are the driver's problem to solve, not yours.
Queen Caroline Street, on the riverside side of the flyover. The Hammersmith gyratory is one-way and the flyover has no stopping, so drivers come round to Queen Caroline Street. Your driver sends the exact standing point and the registration before they set off, so you are not circling a car park looking for a number plate.
Address: 45 Queen Caroline Street, Hammersmith, W6 9QH.
Parking at Eventim Apollo is limited and the surrounding streets are metered or permit-only, so self-driving usually costs more in time than the fare saves. A drop-off and a booked return sidesteps it entirely.
Doors are usually an hour before the show. Working back, that means leaving Battersea around 35 min plus that hour on a busy night - and booking the return at the same time, because the road out is slower than the road in.
£40 in a saloon, £55 in a 6-seat MPV and £60 in an 8-seater. That is the fixed price, agreed at booking.
Door to door the car is about 20 min off-peak. The rail alternative is Battersea Power Station to Hammersmith plus the walk, which is competitive going out and considerably slower coming back.
Queen Caroline Street, on the riverside side of the flyover. You get the exact point and the registration by text beforehand.
A 6-seat MPV is £55 and an 8-seater £60. Bigger parties travel in several vehicles routed together.
The driver waits. We watch venue finish times rather than working to a fixed clock, so a late curtain does not leave you stranded or cost you extra.
No. The fare is fixed when you book. Traffic, tolls and the hour are our problem, not a line on your bill.
Card, bank transfer or a business account, before or after the journey. A VAT receipt is issued either way.
Fares are fixed at booking and shown per vehicle. Distances and journey times are approximate and vary with traffic and the exact pickup address. Page reviewed 7 September 2026.
