By rail you would go Sloane Square (the District and Circle lines) across to Kensington (Olympia) (District and the Overground), then a 2-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that the District service to Olympia is sparse outside event days. Door to door by road is about 15 min, or 25 min when the roads are full, with no changes, no stairs and no queue at the barrier. If you are travelling light and early, the train usually wins on price. If you are in a group, carrying anything, or leaving after an event, the car wins on everything else.
