Out of Guildford (GU1 to GU4) the route runs up the A3 to the M25 at junction 10 and round past Heathrow to the M1. Coming back from Luton the driver follows the M1, the M25 and the A3 back to Guildford. That is about 50 miles: reckon 55 min off-peak and 85 min when the M25 past Heathrow is busy.
Luton has one terminal. Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name board, so there is no DART shuttle or bus to work out.
Landing late or early makes no difference: the driver follows the real landing time at Luton and takes you straight home to Guildford.
The M25 past Heathrow is where delays usually happen. Early-morning runs are quicker; in rush hour allow the full 85 minutes.
