The catch is a change in London with all your luggage. A car does the whole trip door to door in about 50 min, or 80 min when the roads are full, with your bags in the boot.
Out of Woking (GU21 / GU22) the route runs north on the M25 past Heathrow to junction 21, then up the M1. Coming back from Luton the driver follows the M1 and the M25 back to Woking. That is about 45 miles: reckon 50 min off-peak and 80 min when the M25 between the M4 and the M1 is busy.
