By public transport: Train to St Pancras or West Hampstead, Thameslink to Luton Airport Parkway, then the DART, about 80–110 min. The catch is three separate legs and the DART shuttle at the end. A car does the whole trip door to door in about 50 min, or 75 min when the roads are full, with your bags in the boot.
