Event & venue transfers
Hillingdon to LEGOLAND Windsor Resort runs to roughly 13.5 miles and 30 min off-peak. We quote £70 and that is the number you pay, whatever the traffic does.
A taxi from Hillingdon to LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is £70 in a saloon, £90 in a 6-seat MPV and £100 in an 8-seater. It is about 13.5 miles and 30 min off-peak, or 40 min in traffic. The fare is fixed at the moment you book and covers tolls, the driver's waiting time and your luggage.
| Vehicle | Capacity | Fixed fare |

| MPV | up to 6 passengers, 4 large cases | from £90 |
| 8-seater | up to 7 passengers, 7 large cases | from £100 |
Per vehicle, not per person. Tolls, congestion and crossing charges are already inside the price, and it does not change on the day.
The public-transport version starts at Uxbridge (Metropolitan and Piccadilly) and finishes at Windsor & Eton Riverside (National Rail), with a connecting bus at the far end. The catch is that the park shuttle queues hard at opening, which is exactly when you want to be inside. The taxi is about 30 min, or 40 min when the roads are full, but it is one journey rather than three, and nobody stands up for any of it. If you are travelling light and early, the train usually wins on price. If you are in a group, carrying anything, or leaving after an event, the car wins on everything else.
From the UB8, UB10, HA4 streets the route runs via the A40 then the M4 J4, finishing on M4 J6 or M3 J3, then B3022 Winkfield Road. Roughly 13.5 miles, and the timing swings with the hour rather than the route: 30 min clear, 40 min loaded.
Hillingdon pickups take in all of UB8, UB10, HA4. Controlled parking zones and one-way systems are the driver's problem to solve, not yours.
The main entrance drop-off on Winkfield Road. The B3022 queues from mid-morning in school holidays, so an early arrival before 09:30 makes a real difference. Your driver sends the exact standing point and the registration before they set off, so you are not circling a car park looking for a number plate.
Address: Winkfield Road, Windsor, SL4 4AY.
LEGOLAND Windsor Resort has its own car park, but it fills from mid-morning in school holidays and at weekends, and the approach road backs up before the barrier does. Being dropped at the door and collected at an agreed point removes the whole problem.
Entry is timed, so we work backwards from your slot: 40 min for the drive from Hillingdon plus a margin for the approach road, which is the part that actually runs late.

Door to door the car is about 30 min off-peak. The rail alternative is Uxbridge to Windsor & Eton Riverside plus the walk, which is competitive going out and considerably slower coming back.

Yes, and it is the leg worth booking. The driver is in position before you come out instead of you joining the queue that forms the moment it ends.
No. The fare is fixed when you book. Traffic, tolls and the hour are our problem, not a line on your bill.
The driver waits. We watch venue finish times rather than working to a fixed clock, so a late curtain does not leave you stranded or cost you extra.
Card, bank transfer or a business account, before or after the journey. A VAT receipt is issued either way.
Fares are fixed at booking and shown per vehicle. Distances and journey times are approximate and vary with traffic and the exact pickup address. Page reviewed 7 September 2026.
