On the network it is Knightsbridge (the Piccadilly line) to Marble Arch (the Central line), plus a 10-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that which gate you leave by decides how far you walk. A car does the whole thing door to door in about 5 min - and it does it with your bags in the boot. Two people with hand luggage should take the train. Three or more, or anyone with a case, and the fixed fare splits better than the tickets do.
From Knightsbridge it is barely a journey on paper - A40 Westway, then Bayswater Road and you are there. Park Lane and West Carriage Drive close around the event, so the meeting point is agreed by gate: Marble Arch, Lancaster Gate or Hyde Park Corner. What the fixed fare buys you is a driver who already knows which side of the closure to sit on.
In Knightsbridge the pavement outside your door is often the one place a car cannot stop. We agree the point in SW1X, SW7 up front and the driver is on it, not circling.

Parking at BST Hyde Park is limited and the surrounding streets are metered or permit-only, so self-driving usually costs more in time than the fare saves. Being dropped at the door and collected at an agreed point removes the whole problem.
