By rail you would go Knightsbridge (the Piccadilly line) across to Southfields (the District line), then a 15-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that Southfields is queue-managed throughout The Championships. Door to door by road is about 25 min, or 40 min when the roads are full, with no changes, no stairs and no queue at the barrier. Two people with hand luggage should take the train. Three or more, or anyone with a case, and the fixed fare splits better than the tickets do.
The usual line from Knightsbridge is the A4 then the A315, then A3 then A219 Parkside at the end. Roughly 7.7 miles, and the timing swings with the hour rather than the route: 25 min clear, 40 min loaded.
