The public-transport version starts at Pimlico (the Victoria line) and finishes at Southfields (the District line), with a 15-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that Southfields is queue-managed throughout The Championships. Door to door by road is about 25 min, or 40 min when the roads are full, with no changes, no stairs and no queue at the barrier. Two people with hand luggage should take the train. Three or more, or anyone with a case, and the fixed fare splits better than the tickets do.
From the SW1V streets the route runs via the A3212 then the A3213, finishing on A3 then A219 Parkside. That is about 7.5 miles. Reckon 25 min off-peak and 40 min if you are crossing town at the wrong moment.
Pickups in Pimlico land inside the Congestion Charge zone, which is already in the price - and on SW1V the driver will name a legal stopping point rather than idle on a red route.
