On the network it is South Kensington (the Piccadilly, District and Circle lines) to Southfields (the District line), plus a 15-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that Southfields is queue-managed throughout The Championships. Door to door by road is about 25 min, or 40 min when the roads are full, with no changes, no stairs and no queue at the barrier. Two people with hand luggage should take the train. Three or more, or anyone with a case, and the fixed fare splits better than the tickets do.
Out of South Kensington (SW7) the driver picks up the A4 Cromwell Road then the A3218, joining A3 then A219 Parkside for the run-in. Roughly 7.6 miles, and the timing swings with the hour rather than the route: 25 min clear, 40 min loaded.
