By rail you would go Sloane Square (the District and Circle lines) across to Southfields (the District line), then a 15-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that Southfields is queue-managed throughout The Championships. The taxi is about 25 min, or 40 min when the roads are full, but it is one journey rather than three, and nobody stands up for any of it. If you are travelling light and early, the train usually wins on price. If you are in a group, carrying anything, or leaving after an event, the car wins on everything else.
Out of Belgravia (SW1X, SW1W) the driver picks up the A3216 then the A302, joining A3 then A219 Parkside for the run-in. Roughly 7.6 miles, and the timing swings with the hour rather than the route: 25 min clear, 40 min loaded.
