The public-transport version starts at Richmond (the District line, London Overground and South Western Railway) and finishes at Wembley Park (Metropolitan and Jubilee), with a 12-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that Olympic Way is queue-managed after full time and the walk is uphill. A car does the whole thing door to door in about 25 min, or 45 min when the roads are full - and it does it with your bags in the boot. Two people with hand luggage should take the train. Three or more, or anyone with a case, and the fixed fare splits better than the tickets do.
From the TW1, TW2, TW9, TW10, TW11, TW12, SW13, SW14 streets the route runs via the A316 then the A205 then the A305, finishing on A406 North Circular, then Harrow Road and South Way. That is about 9.8 miles. Reckon 25 min off-peak and 45 min if you are crossing town at the wrong moment.
Any address across Richmond upon Thames works, TW1, TW2, TW9, TW10, TW11, TW12, SW13, SW14 included, at whatever hour the South West London traffic is doing its worst.
Green Car Park off South Way is the usual private hire point; on full-house events pickup moves to Rutherford Way or Fifth Way. Olympic Way (Wembley Way) is pedestrianised for two hours after full time, so allow for a short walk to the car. If you were thinking of driving yourself: Wembley Stadium sits inside a matchday or event-day controlled parking zone, on-site spaces are pre-book only and go early, and the residential streets around it are permit-holders only with active enforcement. Pre-booked both ways, none of that is your problem.
