Driving yourself to Brands Hatch means joining the same single-file exit as everyone else, and the car parks empty in one slow wave rather than continuously. Pre-booked both ways, none of that is your problem.
Gates open well before the first race and the roads in are single-file near the course. Leaving Romford about 1h ahead of when you want to be through the turnstile is the timing that holds up.
