The public-transport version starts at Tottenham Court Road (Central, Northern and Elizabeth) and finishes at Kensington (Olympia) (District and the Overground), with a 2-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that the District service to Olympia is sparse outside event days. Door to door by road is about 20 min, or 35 min when the roads are full, with no changes, no stairs and no queue at the barrier. It is a fair fight on the way there. On the way back, when several thousand people want the same platform, it stops being one.
From the W1D, W1F streets the route runs via the A4 then the A400, finishing on A4 then A315 Hammersmith Road. Roughly 6.0 miles, and the timing swings with the hour rather than the route: 20 min clear, 35 min loaded.
Pickups in Soho land inside the Congestion Charge zone, which is already in the price - and on W1D, W1F the driver will name a legal stopping point rather than idle on a red route.

Parking at Olympia London is limited and the surrounding streets are metered or permit-only, so self-driving usually costs more in time than the fare saves. Being dropped at the door and collected at an agreed point removes the whole problem.
