Event & venue transfers
Fixed at £50 from Soho to Eventim Apollo, about 7.2 miles and 25 min on a clear road. The price is locked when you book, not when you travel.
A taxi from Soho to Eventim Apollo is £50 in a saloon, £65 in a 6-seat MPV and £70 in an 8-seater. It is about 7.2 miles and 25 min off-peak, or 40 min in traffic. The fare is fixed at the moment you book and covers tolls, the driver's waiting time and your luggage.
| Vehicle | Capacity | Fixed fare |

| MPV | up to 6 passengers, 4 large cases | from £65 |
| 8-seater | up to 7 passengers, 7 large cases | from £70 |
Per vehicle, not per person. Tolls, congestion and crossing charges are already inside the price, and it does not change on the day.
By rail you would go Tottenham Court Road (Central, Northern and Elizabeth) across to Hammersmith (District, Piccadilly and Circle), then a 3-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that it is genuinely close, so rail is a fair option on this one. The taxi is about 25 min, or 40 min when the roads are full, but it is one journey rather than three, and nobody stands up for any of it. If you are travelling light and early, the train usually wins on price. If you are in a group, carrying anything, or leaving after an event, the car wins on everything else.
From the W1D, W1F streets the route runs via the A4 then the A400, finishing on A4 Hammersmith flyover, then Queen Caroline Street. About 7.2 miles in all - 25 min when it flows, 40 min when it does not.
In Soho the pavement outside your door is often the one place a car cannot stop. We agree the point in W1D, W1F up front and the driver is on it, not circling.
Queen Caroline Street, on the riverside side of the flyover. The Hammersmith gyratory is one-way and the flyover has no stopping, so drivers come round to Queen Caroline Street. Your driver sends the exact standing point and the registration before they set off, so you are not circling a car park looking for a number plate.
Address: 45 Queen Caroline Street, Hammersmith, W6 9QH.
Parking at Eventim Apollo is limited and the surrounding streets are metered or permit-only, so self-driving usually costs more in time than the fare saves. Pre-booked both ways, none of that is your problem.
Doors are usually an hour before the show. Working back, that means leaving Soho around 40 min plus that hour on a busy night - and booking the return at the same time, because the road out is slower than the road in.
£50 in a saloon, £65 in a 6-seat MPV and £70 in an 8-seater. That is the fixed price, agreed at booking.
Door to door the car is about 25 min off-peak. The rail alternative is Tottenham Court Road to Hammersmith plus the walk, which is competitive going out and considerably slower coming back.
Queen Caroline Street, on the riverside side of the flyover. You get the exact point and the registration by text beforehand.
Yes, and it is the leg worth booking. The driver is in position before you come out instead of you joining the queue that forms the moment it ends.
A 6-seat MPV is £65 and an 8-seater £70. Bigger parties travel in several vehicles routed together.
Card, bank transfer or a business account, before or after the journey. A VAT receipt is issued either way.
No. The fare is fixed when you book. Traffic, tolls and the hour are our problem, not a line on your bill.
Fares are fixed at booking and shown per vehicle. Distances and journey times are approximate and vary with traffic and the exact pickup address. Page reviewed 7 September 2026.
